A new shopping guide from Amazon has put the UK in the spotlight with its recommendations for shopping in major cities.
The guide, called Best UK Cities, includes recommendations for big cities, including London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol.
The book has been released as Amazon’s UK cities strategy kicks off.
It features over 200 shopping experiences that span from shopping in big cities to smaller and boutique-like experiences in smaller places.
It also highlights the unique shopping experience in each city and offers links to local shops.
The guide also includes recommendations from retailers for the best deals, while offering the opportunity to shop through the book online.
It comes just weeks after the Amazon UK launch, which saw shoppers in the country spend more than £1bn in stores, and the launch of Amazon Prime.
“In a year where the UK is witnessing record sales and the largest consumer spending increase in its history, we know that shopping in the capital has a big part to play in helping to make this a success,” said Amazon UK Chief Executive John Longworth.
“This guide provides a range of recommendations for local shopping opportunities across the UK.
It’s a great place to start exploring the UK and its shopping experience, and we’re looking forward to sharing more information in the coming weeks.”
