MICHIGAN CITY, Mich.
— Mackinac Cycle Shop, the Michigan City Cycle shop, will open its doors in downtown downtown Minneapolis in the coming weeks.
The store, which was a part of a revitalization of the downtown Minneapolis area, is expected to open by late October.
Mitch McIlroy, a vice president of retail development and brand development at the Mackinaw City Cycle, told ABC News that the chain was looking to open its first store in Minnesota, and the store will offer both a variety of goods and services, including bicycles.
“We are excited to welcome Mackinacs Cycle Shop to downtown Minneapolis and continue to grow our portfolio of brands,” McIlray said in a statement.
“Mack’s Cycle Shop is an ideal fit for the city’s evolving retail landscape and our brand is a direct reflection of that.”
Mackino’s Cycle is another Mackinacan company that opened its first Minneapolis location in late January.
Earlier this year, Mackinans Cyclocross and Adventure Cycling announced they will be adding a second Minneapolis location to their North Minneapolis store.
