The most popular shops in Brisbane are set to reopen this weekend.
The popular Brisbane City shop chain will open at 9am on Sunday.
It will be the second store in Brisbane City since February, and the first since the city closed its stores on February 1, 2018.
The first store opened in March 2019.
The Brisbane City stores closed in March 2018.
“It’s a great day for Brisbane and it’s a fantastic day for the local community.
It’s an important day for us,” Brisbane City Council president Craig McGowan said.”
There’s a huge amount of people that are out shopping for Brisbane City goods today, and it will be a great occasion for them to be able to enjoy Brisbane City in their shopping experience.”
Shop Brisbane City is a family owned business that is based in the city’s inner west.
More than 100 stores opened across the city in March 2017, including at the Central Brisbane branch, which reopened in March, as well as at several other locations.
“We know what it’s like for Brisbaneites to lose our stores and we know what we can do to help make it a better place for our shoppers,” McGowan added.
“And we know we have a great local community behind us and that’s why we’re going to do everything we can to ensure that Brisbane City remains a great place to shop.”
The opening of the stores will mark the second time in two years the stores have reopened.
In March 2019, the City closed its Brisbane City store and the Central City store.
The Central City stores reopened in May 2019.
